SERECO GESTIÓN has introduced in Spain a new concept in the extraction of waste from collectors that require the use of ATEX units due to a zone 1 classified location.

This new system involves the use of a floating pontoon whose articulated arm can extract sludge without damaging the waterproofing of the collector and without the need to empty and stop the activity of the collector. As hard and solidified as the sludge maybe, our extractor will be able to remove it while guaranteeing high operational performance. The operation produces no turbidity in the water and makes this system ideal for work in areas of natural beauty or where great care is needed to protect aquatic life.

It is both a fast (60m3/h) and safe system due to its remote controlled operation thus avoiding the need to place personnel in highly dangerous areas.

This system is ideal for cleaning refinery collectors, wastewater treatment plantsand industrial process collectors and in conjunction with our decanting systems, sludge thickening and drying units (pressure filters and /or centrifuges depending on requirements) they make a team capable of dealing with the most difficult jobs reliably, safely and economically while keeping the transport of waste to a minimum.
